Abstract	Titis paper deals witit the sedimentological citaracteristics exitibited by the five major evaporitic units (series) developed in the Triassic (ROt, middle Muschelkalk, bower Keuper, upper Keuper) and Loiver Liassic (Rheto-Hettangian «zone of anhydrite») of Eastern Spain, in relation with titeir respective depositional sequences. Main attention is dedied to the two Upper Triassic (Keuper) units because of good outcroping conditions and to the one of the Lower Liassic due to significant thicknesses drilled in boreholes.
