Abstract	3.1 This paper describes the first airborne measurements using an Aerodyne Time of Flight Mass Spectrometer during a major international experiment around Mexico City. The paper provides a detailed analysis of the aerosol composition and its variation across the region and links this to different sources. This is a thorough and interesting discussion and one that certainly should be published in ACP.
