Abstract	The objective of the research on the theoretical, methodological, and scientific level will be the analysis of higher education financing in Slovakia and comparison of various financing strategies for higher education in the studied countries. Authors of the research paper analyze the Slovak model of financing of higher education institutions and the latest innovations in this model. Financing of universities, along with the quality of education are very discussed and actual issues.
