| Abstract | This article outlines possibilities and restrictions in the use of ICT in the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language. Its objective is to give a realistic view within a pedagogically justified context. After a brief historical overview, we describe the possible relationship between didactics and technology. The major part of the article is dedicated to a description of possibilities of use of ICT in the Spanish as a foreign language class. This description could be done in several ways: from a technological or a multidisciplinary point of view; taking into account social dimensions or learning styles. We opted for a description based on central didactic issues for the teacher of Spanish (e.g. presentation of contents, acquisition of language skills, correction and evaluation). |
