| Abstract | This study aims to determine the implementation of learning method cooperative type Jigsaw can enhance the activity of class XI IPS on the subjects of Economics with 3 SMA Muhammadiyah Surakarta in academic year 2018 / 2019. The research is a classroom action research(Class Action Research). The research subjects were students of class XI IPS at Muhammadiyah 3 High School Surakarta Academic Year 2018/2019 which amounted to 15 students, consisting of 13 male students and 2 female students. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation and documentation. Data analysis technique uses flow model analysis, steps in data analysis, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusion / verification. The results showed an increase in student learning activeness, namely students who showed a very active attitude of 2 students before the action, 3 students in cycle 1, and 5 students in cycle 2, students with active attitudes of 6 students before the action, 7 students in cycle 1, and 8 students in cycle 2, attitudes of students who showed a fairly active attitude of 5 students before the action, 5 students in cycle 1, and 2 students in cycle 2, and students who showed less active attitudes of 2 students before the action, 0 students in the cycle 1, and 0 students in cycle 2. Based on the results of the study that thelearning method was Jigsaw able to improve student learning activeness in economic subjects in class XI IPS in Muhammadiyah 3 High School Surakarta academic year 2018/2019. |
