| Abstract | The development of the rocket technology in Indonesia had been growing for a long time. At this time the rocket technology will began to develop among students through a rocket competition that organized by the Higher Education with LAPAN. The type of rocket that develops among students is low-speed rockets that use the energy of EDF brushless motors. Rocket with lower energy levels has low accuracy of balance, so it takes a control that keep the rocket position and balancing while sliding. In its application, the rocket is capable of moving on autopilot by gliding into the air to control the position and angle of the glide through the balancing of the rocket fins. The method that used is a PID control and Fuzzy Logic were equipped with a telemetry system that will monitor the movement of the rocket through the rocket monitoring attitude applications based on the point pitch, roll, and yaw. The data of fins test result, can be moved freely from + 30o to -30o with the movement angle of 5o. The data early of the rocket test results, can survive to maintain position and balancing for 2 seconds in the air that will happen until the target angle has met at the time of 1000 milliseconds in the corner of the pitch and up to the time of 750 milliseconds on a rolling angle. The data final of the rocket test results, can survive to maintain position and balancing for 5 seconds in the air that will happen until the target angle has met at the time of 3500 milliseconds in the corner of the pitch and up to the time of 2700 milliseconds on a rolling angle. The rocket has failed to meet targets on yaw angle because of the condition of the rocket that spinned when its gliding through the air. |
