Abstract	Professional Interests Evaluation in Brazil: Scientific literature review The aim of this study was to analyze the scientific literature on vocational interest assessment in Brazilian journals. Articles were identified using the search term "professional interests" and its variations in the BVS-Psi platform which provides access to Psychology journals indexed in the SciELO e PePSIC databases. Thirty-eight articles met the inclusion criteria. Among these main results, the researchers verified timeliness of publication dates, predominance of correlational studies, samples consisting of secondary education students, and ten instruments of interest that were employed. This review discusses the terminological difficulties in recovering appropriate articles, the difference between the number of instruments researched and available for commercial application, and the need for diversification in objectives and methods of study when it comes to the evaluation of interests.
