| Abstract | In recent years, the issue share capital has been treated as a new way of thinking about the dynamics and organization of societies. Among the main thinkers on the subject highlight Pierre Bourdieu, James Coleman, Robert Putnam and Sergio BOISIER, the latter, emphasizing the synergy of the capital, a focus of the approach will work. The capital in its form civic acts as a tool in that as you play, also enhances the chances of development and regeneration of the social fabric. This is a link between the actors who provide combat individualism and loss of sense of belonging that erodes the foundations of living together, unleashing a dislocation and social degradation. One of the main indicators of imbalances in stocks of social capital is reflected mainly in the expansion of violence in large urban centers, much of the underdeveloped world in countries such as so-called emerging. This spread of violence affects the young population, especially between 15 and 24 years of brutal way, making it the leader in the ranking of mortality among all age groups. Therefore, the objective was to try to establish a relationship between levels of social capital and juvenile mortality, taking as its starting point Coqueiral neighborhood in the city of Recife, and Ilha de Santana, in the municipality of Olinda, in the Great Recife . |
