Abstract	The main purpose of this article is verify the conception of death in Tomas Antonio Gonzaga’s work entitled Natural Law Agreement that is based in the mentalities histories method, trying to analyse people’s reactions before death, their behaviours and their collective attitudes. Gonzaga’s thought is going to be compared to the priest Antonio Vieira in the Art of Dying, Keeping so the social, politics, historics and fundamentally religious relations.
