| Abstract | Este artigo tem como objetivo analisar a relacao entre gestao educacional e a formacao docente na Educacao de Jovens e Adultos (EJA) no municipio de Matina, no estado da Bahia, Brasil. A investigacao se pautou na abordagem qualitativa, com delineamento no estudo de caso. Para coleta de dados, lancou-se mao da analise de documentos, da observacao e da entrevista semiestruturada com educadores e educandos de tres escolas que ofertam a EJA, no municipio de Matina. O tratamento dos dados foi possivel gracas a ferramenta da analise de conteudo. Como resultado, constatou-se que a gestao da EJA municipal apresenta-se, ainda, de maneira precaria, o que implica dificeis condicoes de trabalho e de formacao, comprometendo a educacao ofertada a comunidade local. Verificou-se tambem que existe uma estreita relacao entre a gestao educacional e a formacao dos educadores de EJA, o que aponta para a necessidade de investimento financeiro, material e pedagogico no âmbito da melhoria dos processos de gestao educacional, escolar e consequentemente na melhoria e na garantia dos processos formativos, no âmbito da EJA. Perspective of the management of adult and youth education and interfaces with the teacher education Abstract This article aims to analyze the relationship between educational administration and teacher training in the Youth and Adult Education in the city of Matina, in the state of Bahia, Brazil. The research was based on a qualitative approach to design in the case study. For data collection, we employed the analysis of documents, observation and semi structured interviews with teachers and students of three schools that offer the EJA in the town of Matina. Processing of the data was possible, thanks to the content analysis tool. As a result, it was found that the management of municipal adult education presents also a precarious way, which implies difficult working conditions and training, compromising the education offered to the local community. There was also that there is a close relationship between education management and training of adult education teachers, which points to the need for financial investment, material and teaching within the improvement of educational and school management processes, and consequently in improving and ensuring the training processes within the EJA.
