| Abstract | For the development of this research, has been raised as general objective to determine of effectiveness of the education plan Bundle about the knowledge in the prevention of neumonia with mechanical ventilation in patients of the unit of intensive care-ICU of the Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo during the year 2016. Likewise raised three specific objectives contributing to the general objective. They have also analyzed according to each variable and its dimensions. The methodology used has been quantitative, experimental, type since it allowed UCI staff develop a training plan and observe the problematic reality about salud-neumonia care-associated infections. The sample population is composed of 50 nurses and nurses working in that unit. The instrument on the bundle methodology, was applied to the sample and determined reliability with Kuder Richarson-20 0.83 being acceptable, showing internal consistency in the items. Described the results through tables of frequencies resulting in a high level of effectiveness of the methodology in the posttest bundle. Also, the results of the test of Wilcoxon for ranges with sign, indicate that the application of the methodology blunde is highly effective in preventing infections associated with the care of salud: neumonia with mechanical ventilation in patients of the unit of intensive care-ICU of the Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo during the year 2016. |
