| Abstract | The discovery of a 1070 BP burial of ceramic fragments corresponding to more than 50 different vessels OF different styles and time frames, points without doubt TO the cosmological significance of the ceramics for the Aburrá Valley people. We present the finding of the ceramics and their analysis. 14 fragments were subjected to chemical analysis by ICP AES and 13 to petrographic analysis to determine their composition and origin. We conclude that the majority were made with local materials. We propose research lines that detail the contexts and ritual forms of these societies. |
