Abstract	This study aims to (1) analyze revenue and profits dairy farmers in the town of Padang Panjang, and (2) analyse the influence of the characteristic dairy farmers on the income of dairy farmers in the town of Padang Panjang. The methods used in this research was survey method with the total sample 28 dairy farmers using census techniques. The result show revenues of dairy farmers in the town of Padang Panjang is Rp 70.420.000/lactation/cow and the average profit is Rp 34.997.792/lactation/cow. Overall livestock a dairy in the town of Padang Panjang is still feasible with the R/C is 1.47. Of all the characteristics dairy farmers (number of cattle ranchers, cattlemen, age education level, experience, motivation, number of dependants and family labor) do not have significant influence on the income of dairy farmers. This research suggest that to reduce cost incurred dairy farmers/lactation, dairy farmers in the town of Padang Panjang can reduce costs feed issued by way of utilizing the land like paddy dykes to plant feed forage dairy farmers don't need to buy forage. To increase the revenue, dairy farmers could sell all other produces such as urine and feces of livestock for manure.
