| Abstract | This document presents the development of an online manufacturing execution system (MES) for animal feed industry, identifying the technologies used and the definitions of the production process on this type of factory, besides the necessary requirements in a MES. To do so, besides the web system, a Java connector was also developed in order to establish the communications between the programmable logic controller (PLC) and the database. The MES should be able to automatically control the feed recipes, managing its ingredients, number of batches, and also providing online information about the accuracy of measurements and quantitative information about the process. |
