Abstract	El quiste broncogenico es una malformacion de la porcion ventral del intestino primitivo que ocasiona alteracion en el desarrollo del arbol traqueobronquial. Comunicamos dos casos de quistes broncogenicos que se acompanaron de sintomas respiratorios; uno, de localizacion mediastinal paratraqueal derecha y, el otro, intraparenquimatoso en lobulo inferior derecho. La radiografia y tomografia de torax permitieron evaluar la presencia, localizacion, tamano y relacion de los quistes con las vias aereas. Ambos pacientes fueron operados sin complicaciones; los sintomas respiratorios desaparecieron. El estudio histopatologico confirmo el diagnostico.(AU) Bronchogenic cysts are malformations of the ventral portion of the primitive gut that cause an alteration in the development of the tracheobronchial tree. We report two cases of bronchogenic cysts with respiratory symptoms. A 32 year old woman had a mediastinal cyst at the right paratracheal level and the other was an eight month old boy with an intraparenchymal cyst in the right lower lobe. Chest X-rays and CA T scans are mandatory to determine the presence, exact location, size and relationships of the cysts to the larger airways. Both patients were resected without complications and have been asymptomatic. The histopathological study confirmed the diagnosis.(AU)
