| Abstract | Evolving poker players is not a new idea. Many attempts have been made, using different ap proaches. This article describes an experiment attempting to improve the evolution of neural net works capable of playing the poker variant Texas Hold'em at tables with 5 opponents by a divide and conquer approach combined with introduction of subpopulations to distribute the algorithm to multiple machines.
