| Abstract | Application of an Algorithm for the Detection of Pulmonary Arterial Hyertension in Patients with Connective Tissue Disease Introduction: Pulmonary hypertension (PH) is a serious complication in connective tissue disease (CTD), although multiple causes can be the source of it. Therefore, it is essential to establish an accurate diagnosis to determine the cause of HP. Early detection algorithms are aimed to diagnose PH in patients with CTD in less advanced disease. Objectives: 1) To detect the presence of pulmonary hypertension (PH) in a population diagnosed with CTD by an early detection algorithm. 2) To diagnose Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) associated to CTD. Materials and Methods: It’s a descriptive, prospective study.
