| Abstract | This monograph will be used to analyze the truth commissions as an institutional mechanism that has contributed to the consolidation of transitional justice, being this the satisfaction of justice in States that have managed to overcome situations carved with violations of human rights. The additional step to achieve an effective rule of law that protects human rights requires knowledge on past acts, their origin and who made them possible, this is where the commissions of truth come into play. We will study the truth commissions from the constitutional perspective in convexity with what was stated in the accord in November 24th 2016. |
