| Abstract | With the establishment of a new Constitution in 2008, in Ecuador, concepts of rights and equality, gender equality, labor diversity and domestic work are established, among others. In the field of gender equality, the intention of this work is to analyze, in two models, respectively, whether or not there is wage discrimination based on gender, as well as female wage discrimination for self-identification.
