| Abstract | espanolLas areas naturales protegidas de Andalucia (Espana) constituyen un claro ejemplo de las oportunidades que la proteccion del entorno social y medioambiental ofrece para el emprendimiento responsable y la colaboracion entre los diversos agentes socio-economicos. En este trabajo, se realiza una caracterizacion de las iniciativas empresariales que orientan el desarrollo de su actividad hacia la conservacion de dichas areas. En particular, se analizan las empresas del sector turistico adheridas a la Carta Europea de Turismo Sostenible (CETS) ubicadas en el marco de los espacios naturales protegidos andaluces acreditados. Sus actividades empresariales constituyen un ejemplo de accion colaborativa entre agentes privados y gestores publicos en el marco de las acciones para la proteccion y conservacion de los recursos naturales. Del estudio se desprende que tanto las caracteristicas ambientales y socioeconomicas de dichos espacios, como las nuevas demandas de la sociedad, mas concienciada con el medio ambiente, han favorecido el emprendimiento pro-sostenible en diferentes ambitos de actividad (hospedaje rural, restauracion, ecoturismo, turismo deportivo, etc.) EnglishTourism Entrepreneurship and Sustainability in Protected Natural Areas. The protected natural areas of Andalusia (Spain) are a clear example of the opportunities that the protection of the environment provides for responsible entrepreneurship and collaboration among various socio-economic agents. In this paper, the tourism businesses joined to the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism (CETS) and located within protected natural areas of Andalusia is analyzed. Its business activities are an example of collaborative action between private and public managers in the context of actions for the protection and conservation of natural resources. The study shows that both environmental and socioeconomic characteristics of such areas, as well as the new demands of society more aware of the environment, have favored the development of sustainopreneurship in different fields (rural housing, restoration, ecotourism, sports tourism, etc.) |
