| Abstract | An analysis of the influence of the speed developed by the vehicles, in the generation of high levels of vehicular noise in six of the main road corridors of the city of Tunja, Colombia, is presented. The methodology was based on the mensuration of the levels of noise in different hours of the day and, the determination of the spatial speed, relating them by means of a regression analysis, the one which it allowed to establish that the variation of the spatial speed developed in the road corridors studied could explain between 59,33% and 77,86% the variation of the levels of sound pressure in the main roads of the city of Tunja. Concludes that exists a tendency to the increment of the vehicular noise in connection with the increase of the speed, for that which, they think about some values of reduction of speed in some roads of the city. |
