| Abstract | Adolescence represents a vital stage characterized by a sequence of identity crisis and several psycho affective and social-relational conflicts due to changes that follow and relate to psycho social level and on familial, educational and leisure time settings. The link between younger leisure style and the experimentation with psychoactive substances is analysed at a theoretical level, contributing a differential analysis by age level. For that, we studied a sample of 755 secondary school students of the Principado de Asturias (Spain) between twelve and eighteen years old. We confirm that as the students get older they show a more permissive trend related to consumption, a more frequent acceptance of incitements and a lower risk perception of the consequences derived from the use of institutionalized drugs (alcohol and tobacco) and illegal drugs. |
