| Abstract | Within a socio-constructivist perspective, supported learning based on problem solving (ABRP), with regard to the personal development of students is clearly relevant involves them increasingly practical activities, such as visits study, which are seen as key ways to develop skills in the teaching / learning process (Araújo, 2012). Thus, a case study based on a biological and geological study involving two groups of ninth grade (Working Group), in which the model Nir Orion (1993) was implemented for the field trips was done, and still another class of the same year as the control group. Thus, it was possible to see how the study visits, according to that model, influence student learning. In the present investigation is that the field trips by Nir Orion model (1993) promote effective student learning. However there is still some resistance in promoting learning in outdoor environment, so this dissertation aims to raise awareness and appeal to the reflection theme. |
