| Abstract | The third sector has been growing in recent years. However, even so, the production of strategic content in this area is still quite scarce, within the limits of this research, making it relevant to investigation of social representations about strategic planning in the third sector. This article seeks to elucidate the equivalence or non production of knowledge about strategic planning in the universes reified and consensual, that is,the knowledge derived from science and common sense. Thus, the aim of this article is to highlight the social representations of strategic planning by managers of third sector organizations in the city of Ouro Preto. This research presents a qualitative, exploratory, descriptive, literature, and case based on the Theory of Social Representations, seeking to identify how the strategic planning in the third sector, and how the knowledge produced through the social representations is associated. To this end we interviewed managers of third sector organizations in the city of Ouro Preto. The data obtained from the interviews were analyzed and justified by the theoretical basis from the technique of content analysis. It is also important to stress that this survey is not intended to generalize their results. The research does not present a conclusive character, in order to exhaust the subject, she seeks to present a relevant field to be explored about the social representations of strategic planning in the third sector, and thus can serve as a basis for further studies in this area. |
