Abstract	This study aims to determine the relationship interest with study result on student learning of biology class VII SMP Negeri 27 Medan academyc years 2011/2012. The population in this study are all students of class VII of with a total of 310 students. The sample was taken by random sampling that is as many 74 siswa. The research type which is used in this research is descriptive, where one of [the] its research type that is research of correlation relation, with questionnaire counted 30 problem as a means of compiler of research data. From result of data-processing organization obtained by result of enthusiasm data learn student class of VII SMP Country 27 Field Year Study 2011//2012 that is there are 85% student have enthusiasm learn pertained high criterion and 15% student have enthusiasm learn pertained criterion enough. To Result of learning student obtained 97% student expressed complete and 3% expressed is not complete. With value = 0,07 < hence from rule of Ho accepted and ha refused, hence can be concluded that There no relation which is signifikan between enthusiasm learn with result learn student biology class of VII SMPN 27 Field of T.P.2011 / 2012. But there are positive correlation [among/between] enthusiasm learn student with result learn student pertained very low category. Because thitung ( 0,5951) < ttab ( 1,67), hence in this research Ha refused and Ho accepted. Become its conclusion correlation coefficient between enthusiasm learn with result learn student biology is do not signifikan. From result of calculation of index of determinasi hence known is big of enthusiasm contribution learn student to result learn student biology is equal to 0,49% and the rest 99.51% is again determined by other factors.
