| Abstract | The presence in Eastern Island, Chile (27° 09' S, 109° 27' W), of the Neotropical long horned beetle, Lagocheirus undatus (Voet) is reported for first time. This species has been observed attacking Ficus carica L. (figtree) in different points of the island. This new record constitutes the second report of an exotic cerambycid introduced antropically in this insular territory. Morphological characters, geographic distribution and biology are briefly reviewed. |
