Abstract	In the functioning of the European Union, since th origin which was enshrined the right to use one's own national language as a feature. Th e use of national languages is still today one of t he most distinctive aspects of this integration organi z tion in the international framework. This analysi s is intended to draw attention to this aspect of the us e of official languages which is a means of access to the law and knowledge in general, sometimes little valu ed, but extremely revealing of the nature of the European Union. RESUMEN: El funcionamiento de la Unión Europea desde el prin cip o que se consagró el derecho a utilizar su propia lengua nacional como una caracte ística de operación. El uso del lenguaje surge com o lema característico y en la Unión Europea. El régim en lingüístico es, aún hoy en día, más de uno de lo s aspectos distintivos de esta organización de integr ación en el ámbito internacional. Se pretende en es te análisis llamar la atención sobre este aspecto del uso de las lenguas oficiales de que es un medio de acceso a la ley y al conocimiento en general, a vec es poco apreciada, pero muy reveladora de la naturaleza de la UE.
