Abstract	Providing the availability of products appeared to be the crucial condition for generating income from the sales as well as making possible for the companies to conquer new markets. The one of the most important elements affecting the level of products availability in the supply chain are the manipulation activities performed in logistics hubs, especially – the order picking process. The order execution in the logistics hubs covers around 55%-65% of the operational costs. Improvement of the order picking influences the reduction of operational cost and increases the level of customer service. Authors, using the simulation methods, analyse the influence of different factors on the time period of order picking process in the warehouse.
