| Abstract | The Greina region (Central Swiss Alps) was the object of a detailed geomorphological study in order to reconstruct the main morphogenetical steps since the Last Glacial Maximum (LGM). The ice flowlines during the LGM and at the beginning of the Lateglacial were defined and the glacier retreat between the end of the Oldest Dryas and the beginning of the Holocene was reconstructed. It was also possible to evidence the main phases of “paraglacial” torrential activity during the Holocene and its relationships with the glacial sedimentary stock in the upper part of the watersheds. |
