| Abstract | The purpose of this study is to analyze the visual representation of the material, which is the design element of visual perception, by drawing visual elements constituting the space of the learning center. the results are as follow, First, in order to obtain objective spatial data, four brands with more than 30 stores were analyzed and found to be intensive learning space, complex learning space, community space and office space. Second, the four types of spaces of expansion, center, boundary, and decoration are called 'transparency, lightness, ambiguity and mobility', 'depth, hysteria, symbolism', 'segmentation, Respectively. Third, the expression elements of material were extracted as 'material', 'texture', 'color', 'pattern'. The process of perceiving space, that is, the process of perceiving space, reinterprets the concept of space experienced through visual image, and it has been shown that the direction of color and visual texture of material is the most in the process of accepting visual. In the future, it should be compared with more examples of learning centers and overseas cases.
