| Abstract | Uno de los fines de los centros que custodian el patrimonio bibliografico y documental es el de su conservacion a perpetuidad. Sin embargo, en lo que se refiere a los soportes convencionales, su degradacion y las exigencias de difusion plantean dudas acerca de que la conservacion deba realizarse exclusivamente en los soportes originales. En este sentido se plantean los medios digitales como una solucion que puede ser duradera si se enmarca dentro de un plan de preservacion integral como el que proporciona el modelo OAIS de la norma UNE-ISO 14721:2015. Preservation in perpetuity is one of the purposes of the centers that guard the bibliographical and documentary heritage. However, regarding to conventional media, its degradation and the diffusion requirements raise doubts about the fact that the conservation should be carried out exclusively on the original media. In this sense, digital media are considered as a solution that can be long-lasting if it is part of a comprehensive preservation plan such as that provided by the OAIS model of the UNE-ISO 14721: 2015 standard. |
