| Abstract | This contribution reports ongoing research concerning a legislative drafting system named SOLON.1 The system was developed at the Institute of Social Law, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium. SOLON is designed to support the implementation of the basic principles of legislative technique and is specifically based on the translation into computer algorithms of the 254 drafting guidelines of the Flemish government. First, specific attention will be paid to the Flemish guidelines, second, the features and particular functions of the system will be discussed. |
