Abstract	This study consists in an inter-subjective analysis of three categories of beliefs and expectations of parents about their children’s football practice at Futebol Clube do Porto’s Dragon Force football school: football as pedagogy and development, football as a professional career and football as integration in the club culture. Through a newly built questionnaire (QOISCERP), a direct perspective on beliefs and expectations of 100 parents is compared with the beliefs and expectations that they attribute to the generality of parents. Results show a perception of disagreement between intra and intersubjective perspectives in categories A and B and a perception of agreement on category C.
