| Abstract | This thesis analyzes the discourses and trajectories that led to build the public policy of vaccination against Human Papilloma Virus-HPV in Colombia. To do this, the interaction and paths between corporate philanthropy and international health organizations involves into the female sexual and reproductive health policies in developing countries, are traced. The research materials are official documents that show how these global objectives are adapted to the region and, at the same time, their fulfillment in the prevention of cervical cancer, through the implementation of vaccination against HPV. Therefore, it analyzes the background of the law 1626 / 2013 that decrees the vaccination against HPV in schooled girls in Colombia. The discourse analysis is made to the official gazettes containing the discussions of the Colombian Senate, which gave rise to this law. The timeline that links global, regional and national documents shows how these documents are jointed in the construction of said law. The methodological analysis shows that these documents locate their intervention in the Colombian context, reproducing colonial discourses on the knowledge building related to the women's body; which leads to the term malignum uteri, which accounts for a pathologization process of women's bodies, which is updated according to the episteme of the time. |
