Abstract	espanolLa lejania y la falta de lutieres en el archipielago canario eran dos inconvenientes que afectaban directamente a la capilla de musica de la Catedral. La solicitud y la compra de instrumentos musicales y cuerdas asi como su envio a Gran Canaria dependia de la implicacion y gestiones de los agentes del Cabildo en Madrid, Cadiz y Sevilla. En este trabajo se exponen los tramites, condiciones y pagos que hacia la citada institucion, especialmente a traves de su representante en Cadiz. Se aporta documentacion en la que se refrendan todos estos pedidos y gestiones, procedente del Archivo de la Catedral de Canaria (ACC). EnglishThe specific situation of the Canary Islands particularly affected the Music Chapel of the Cathedral. The request and purchase of musical instruments so as its delivery to Gran Canaria depended on the involvement and management of Agents from the Cabildo in Madrid, Cadiz and Seville. This piece of work exposes the process, conditions and payments that the mentioned institution had to carry on, mostly through its representative in Cadiz. This study is mainly based on documentation to be found in the Archivo de La Catedral de Canaria Archive (ACC).
