| Abstract | espanolObjetivo: la investigacion analiza la definicion de dialogo intercultural desde la perspectiva indigena en relacion con la institucionalidad en salud, analizando como se da ese dialogo en la prestacion de servicios en salud en la medicina tradicional y occidental en la Asociacion Indigena Zonal de Arica (AIZA) de la Amazonia Colombiana. Metodo: se ha utilizado una metodologia cualitativa para el analisis documental, se ha realizado un ejercicio etnografico con la tecnica de observacion participante, diario de campo y entrevistas semiestructuradas a los lideres y profesionales durante los anos 2009-2013. Resultados: los resultados describen las diferencias del dialogo intercultural entre los indigenas y no indigenas. Conclusiones: para los indigenas el dialogo es la interaccion y relacionamiento entre los seres humanos y no humanos (animales, espiritus, plantas), para los no indigenas es solo una interaccion entre humanos con respeto, transparencia y sinceridad. Ademas, en la prestacion de servicios occidentales, el dialogo intercultural presenta barreras de tiempo, visuales, idioma y falta de herramientas de los profesionales; en contraste la medicina tradicional no presenta barreras de tiempo, espacio y se reconocen los saberes de los individuos, asimismo reconocen que el dialogo se desarrolla en diferentes espacios como la chagra1, maloca2 y balsas3. 1 Lugar donde las familias cultivan los alimentos y plantas para el consumo o curacion de las enfermedades. 2 Lugar sagrado donde las comunidades realizan los bailes tradicionales, reuniones; ademas es utilizado como espacio de curacion. 3 Espacio donde las mujeres se reunen a lavar la ropa o arreglar los alimentos como el pescado. EnglishAnalysis of the intercultural dialogue in healthcare in the Colombian Amazonia Objetive: this research analyzed the definition of intercultural dialogue from the perspective of natives, regarding the institutionalized healthcare framework, by analyzing how this dialogue is conducted when providing patient care within traditional and Western Medicine at the Native Association of the Arica Area (AIZA) in the Colombian Amazonia. Method: qualitative methodology was used for documentary analysis, and an ethnographic exercise was conducted with the participant observation technique, field diary, and semi-structured interviews with leaders and professionals from 2009 to 2013. Results: the results described the differences in intercultural dialogue between natives and non-natives. Conclusions: for natives, dialogue is the interaction and relationship between human and non-human beings (animals, spirits, plants); for non-natives it is only an interaction between humans with respect, transparency and honesty. Moreover, when providing Western healthcare, the intercultural dialogue presents barriers of time and language, as well as visual, and there is lack of tools by professionals; on the other hand, Traditional Medicine does not present time and space barriers, and the knowledge by individuals is acknowledged; they will also acknowledge that dialogue is conducted in different spaces, such as the “chagra” (glades in the forest used to plant herbs for medicinal and ritual use), the “maloca” (ancestral long house used by the natives of the Amazon) and the boats. |
