| Abstract | Electrocoagulation is a continuous coagulation process using direct current while ozonation is one of the disinfection process by using ozone. Textile waste treatment can be done by various processes such as adding coagulant, conducting electrolysis process or by ozonation. The research undertaken aims at knowing the effectiveness of textile wastewater treatment by using electrocoagulation, ozonation or by combining the two processes. The research was conducted on laboratory scale by using textile waste water in experiment with free variable that is, electrocoagulation method, ozonation method, and combination. Samples were analyzed in the time span of 0 minutes, 45 minutes, 60 minutes and 120 minutes. The analysis refers to SNI 06-6989.15-2-2004, SNI 06-6989.72-2009 and Regulation of the Minister of Environment no. 5 Year 2014 for COD and BOD parameters. SK SNI M-03-1989-F for TSS parameter. The analysis results show by using electrocoagulation method after 2 hours of processing efficiency reach, on the ozonation method reach and on reach combination method. Through research that has been done combination method has a high efficiency in processing textile waste. |
