| Abstract | The demobilization and reintegration of groups outside the law identified as guerrilla groups, paramilitary, and or self-defense groups have generated different strains in the Colombian society. As a result, various governments throughout history have carried out several ineffective processes that would allow the search for political and legal implements in order to achieve effective reintegration into civilian life of those who have been part of groups outside the law. Given the above, in this paper historical, social, and legal research of the various processes that have been developed in the Colombian governments to achieve peace agreements are made. Subsequently the different social tensions resulting from the demobilization and reintegration of members of the Paramilitary groups and or SelfDefense groups were also identified, focusing in the analysis inside the city of Santiago de Cali, that allowed the recovery of experiences through the analysis of primary and secondarysources,implying as a primary source the Interviews with Christian guerrilla Martinez Quiñonez belonging to the Manuel Cepeda Vargas Front of the FARC and Patricia Rhodes Millan, Chief of staff of the demobilization sub unit in Cali. And as a secondary source, a set of research documents within the practice of the hermeneutic exercise. |
