| Abstract | Se presentan los resultados obtenidos en un estudio realizado sobre el impacto subjetivo de determinados sucesos de vida y su posible relacion con sintomas psicopatologicos en estudiantes adolescentes (N=195) residentes en zonas rurales de las provincias de Tucuman y Santa Fe. Se utilizaron las versiones en espanol de la Escala Sucesos de vida (Casullo, 1998) y del listado de sintomas SCL-90-R (Derogatis, 1994). La primera para evaluar el impacto subjetivo de aquellos sucesos vitales que le ocurrieron en el transcurso de sus vidas y como los afectaron y la segunda para evaluar sintomas de somatizacion, obsesiones y compulsiones, sensibilidad interpersonal, depresion, ansiedad, hostilidad, ansiedad fobica, ideacion paranoide y psicotisismo. Los resultados indican que el suceso que mas los afecto subjetivamente es el referido a la muerte de algun abuelo. Se encontraron diferencias en los sucesos marcados con mayor impacto entre los hombres y las mujeres de la muestra. El lugar de residencia tambien determino diferencias en la frecuencia de aparicion de los sucesos marcados. Se observaron asociaciones estadisticamente significativas entre el numero de sucesos vitales marcados y la mayor aparicion de sintomas psicopatologicos. Resumen en Ingles The results obtained in a research study about the subjective impact of determined events of life and the possible relation with psychopathology symptoms on adolescents students (N=195) living in the rural zone of the provinces of Tucuman and Santa Fe. The Spanish versions of The Life Event Scale (Casullo, 1998) and The Symptom Checklist-90-R (Derogatis, 1994) were used. The first to evaluate the subjective impact of those vital events that happened during their and how they affected them. The second to evaluate somatization, obsessive and compulsive, interpersonal sensitivity, depression, anxiety, hostility, phobic anxiety, paranoid ideation and psychoticism symptoms. The results show that the most subjectively striking event was the one referred to a grandfathers death. Differences were found about those events considered of major impact between the men and women from the sample. The place where they live also established differences on the frequency of appearance of those events. There is significant statistical association between the greater number of vital events that were painted out and the current psychopathology symptoms.
