| Abstract | The supervised curriculum traineeship promotes a support skill development for the formation of future teachers, constituting itself as an important component to the formation of teachers. The objective of this research was to reflect about the role of Supervised Traineeship of undergraduates and graduates in Biological Sciences from the Universidade Estadual do Sudoeste da Bahia (UESB), Itapetinga - BA. Questionnaires were used with open and closed questions aimed at three groups: nine graduated students from the Course of Licenciatura em Biologia da UESB; nine undergraduates of the 8th semester and nine undergraduate students of the 6th semester, totaling twenty and seven questionnaires, analyzed by the technique of content analysis. It was noticed that the students considered the Supervised traineeship as a discipline or a period connected directly to formation of future teacher; they recognized the importance of traineeship, viewing it as a moment of reflection about reality and learning. It was found that the traineeship has provided many contributions to the formation of future teachers, and also served as a source of reflection for the students think about the teaching career. |
