Abstract	2 Abstract Note about the occurrence of a population of Trithrinax brasiliensis Martius (Arecaceae) in Vale do Rio Pardo, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. This note reports the occurrence of a population of Trithrinax brasiliensis in the municipality of Boqueirao do Leao, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. It is an endangered species in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, being this the first record for this region, increasing its known occurrence area.
