| Abstract | 800x600 This paper seeks to relate to teacher training in contemporary society and some features present in Marxist theories, demonstrating that it is currently necessary to align these two aspects, in order to propose a reflection and suggest further research in this area. We live in a society in which teacher education is considered insufuciente, missing some important aspects that can be found in Marxist theory. In this sense, it often takes a broader training, teacher training should be closer to a onilateral training, ie, a complete training in view of Marxist theories. Thus, it was found that there are several papers on this onilateral training, but in practice few things are accomplished. The teacher education courses are not contemplating actions necessary to quality training, often continued training is necessary in order to complete what has not worked satisfactorily. Thus, we believe that further studies on the onilateral training is necessary, because we believe that this approach can bring gains for the training of teachers in general.
