| Abstract | When the CSIC's institutes of human and social sciences was moved to the new joint headquarter on Albasanz street, it because necessary to plan the documentation evaluation, selection and elimination process. Since said documentation of the seven different centers was distributed amongst 6000 different dependencies, there was a clear risk of losing documentary patrimony during the 2007 transfer. A methodology to safeguard this patrimony thus had to be set and carried out, with special attention being paid to those documents of historical character. At the same time, archival criteria for evaluation, selection and elimination were applied. |
