| Abstract | This paper presents the findings of recent interview designed to know the local perceptions about climate variability and climate change. The interview was applied on coffee and cocoa farmers in central area of Santander. People know about the changes, causes and tendencies of local climate variability as well It effects on their livelihoods; some cultural practices of that livelihoods are considered as adaptation actions. About climate change people think that It happen in a local, regional and global scale, bet they don ́t about It causes, consequences and mitigation actions. |
