Abstract	This paper presents an analytical approach to the current state of some related applications of con- tinuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma in Colombian companies, and specifically of those located in the city of Bucaramanga. This document describes the benefits of applying Six Sigma methodology and its impact on the industry. Identify new opportunities for application of the methodology in this city to support such global com- petitiveness and productivity is the main objective of this analysis.
