| Abstract | Fwake The modified mixing length (MML) turbulence model was installed in the Proteus Navier-Stokes Gt,...G8 code, then modified to make it applicable to a wider H range of flows typical of aerospace propulsion applik cations. The modifications are based on experimental l data for three flat-plate flows having zero, mild p adverse, and strong adverse pressure gradients. Pt Three transonic diffuser test cases were run with the Q new version of the model in order to evaluate its perR formance. All results are compared with experimental data and show improvements over calculations made using the Baldwin-Lomax turbulence model, the standard algebraic model in Proteus. |
