| Abstract | This year signifies the fifteenth volume of the Journal of Fluorescence since the inaugural issue in 1991. Since that time, the Journal of Fluorescence has become the major repository for fluorescence, based material in the world. To celebrate this 15-year milestone and landmark in publishing excellence, I have organized three general theme, special journal issues with key fluorescence workers who themselves have also been part of the historical growth and the wide field success of the Journal. This issue is the second of the three issues. Please join with me in thanking the contributors to this special issue, as well as to the many other authors who have made contributions in years past . |
