| Abstract | The following study performs an analysis of the locations proposed by the Brazilian Government, which will receive the stations of embarkation and disembarkation of passengers, for the high-speed train that will be implanted in Brazil, linking Rio de Janeiro to Campinas. The development of this research is done by using the Data Envelopment Analysis method, and as main objective, identify logistically, according to the variables used, the cities that show the highest efficiency for receipt of these stations. The result demonstrates that there is a common trend, compared the proposed cities and the statements made by the system, but that, however, some cities that do not present the greater efficiency, appear in the list of the proposals of the Government, showing that despite the importance of the logistics perspective, other factors are taken into consideration at the time of the final choice. |
