| Abstract | RESUMO: O presente trabalho apresenta uma analise acerca das imagens representadas nos livros didaticos sobre os indios. Parte-se do pressuposto de que as sociodiversidades sao tidas ainda numa perspectiva mitica. Dai e importante entender como estao sendo ilustrados os indios nos livros didaticos? A presente discussao esta fundamentada a luz de autores, como SILVA (2009); SILVA (2015); SANTOS E CHAUI (2002); MARTINS (2009); COELHO (2016) e BRASIL (2012, 1996, 2008). Objetivou-se analisar as imagens e discursos impregnados nos livros didaticos de historia sobre os indios, e mais especificamente identificar as representacoes sociais sobre os indios, observar e desmistificar algumas imagens e discursos ainda no paradigma da visao reducionista acerca dos povos indigenas. Metodologicamente, este trabalho foi desenvolvido por meio da tempestade de ideias (MOURA E RIBEIRO, 2015), as ideias partiram das seguintes problematizacoes norteadoras: Como olhamos os livros didaticos atuais no que concerne a abordagem da tematica indigena? Quais avancos e permanencias identificaram? O que consideramos de mais lacunar e mais significativo nos livros analisados? Apos a analise de tais questoes foi possivel chegar a conclusao de que as sociodiversidades indigenas devem produzir o material didatico sobre si mesmos, para desmistificar a visao folclorica, mitologica e estereotipada que ainda se encontra no programa nacional dos livros didaticos (PNLD) em plena contemporaneidade. This is on the assumption that sociodiversidades are still taken on a mythical perspective. Hence it is important to understand how they are being depicted Indians in textbooks? This discussion is based light of authors, as SILVA (2009); SILVA (2015); SANTOS AND CHAUI (2002); MARTINS (2009); COELHO (2016) and BRAZIL (2012, 1996, 2008). It aims to analyze the images and speeches steeped in history textbooks on the Indians, and more specifically identify the social representations of the Indians, observe and demystify some images and speeches still the reductionist paradigm about indigenous peoples. Methodologically, this work was developed through brainstorming (MOURA E RIBEIRO, 2015), the ideas set out the following guiding problematizations: As we look at the current textbooks regarding the approach to indigenous issues? What advances and continuities identified? What we consider more lacunar and most significant in the analyzed books? After the analysis of these issues was possible to reach the conclusion that indigenous sociodiversidades should produce educational materials about themselves, to demystify the folkloric, mythological and stereotypical view that is still in the national program of textbooks (PNLD) in full contemporaneity.
