Abstract	El contenido del presente articulo es producto del analisis, la reflexion, la sistematizacion, aprendizaje y aplicacion del sistema de conocimientos abordados en el “Diplomado Internacional en Fundamentos Didacticos del Diseno Curricular para Formar Competencias en el Ambito de la Educacion Superior”, “Tercer Encuentro Internacional de Educacion: Evaluacion por Competencias y Formacion por Ciclos” y la “Pasantia Internacional en Educacion Superior”, realizados en el segundo semestre del ano 2007 en Colombia (los dos primeros) y Cuba, respectivamente. En el articulo se plantea una alternativa metodologica para el diseno curricular por competencias en las instituciones de educacion superior enmarcada en el enfoque de la Escuela de Desarrollo Integral. Abstract The content of this paper is the result of the analysis, thinking, systematization, learning and application of the knowledge system addressed in the "International Diploma in Didactic Fundamentals of Curriculum Design for Competencies Formation in the Higher Education," "Third International Meeting of Education: Evaluation by Competencies and Formation by Cycles" and " International Internship in Higher Education", done in the second half of 2007 in Colombia (two first) and Cuba, respectively. This article presents an alternative methodology for the curriculum design by competencies in higher education institutions proposal under the focus of the School of Integral Development.
